Perfect for use with the VW California, T5, T6 & T6.1
This perfect metal ground anchor for the VW California rail system is simple and easy to install and use and is not a permanent fixture meaning it can be removed and installed as pleased.
Ideal for securing luggage, bikes, pet carriers etc…
Please Note: Although the kit is designed for the T5 seat rail system which has removable pieces in the front, this can also be used on the T6/T6.1 which has the sprung fittings, the screws simply need removing to slot the plate in before replacing the same screws.

Absolutely perfect but do they really need to be this expensive, also I found the instructions very ambiguous? Hence only 3 stars

Fits my 2015 Cali (T5) perfectly and easy to install. Instructions aren’t very clear but once plastic end cap removed from floor rail then it’s fairly obvious how to secure. Quite expensive but very solid and well made so worth it.

Really easy to install- I have a T6.1 Cali and wanted something to tether my dog (in harness) to when carrying two passengers in the rear. I was a bit apprehensive when the description highlighted that it would be more difficult to fit to a T6.1 than the T5 it was designed for but in reality it couldn’t have been simpler! Took no more than 10 minutes (and 5mins if that was looking for my correct socket set!). Means our Cocker Spaniel can now lie comfortably between the two front seats whilst being safely tethered to the fixing point.
My other concern was whether it would foul the bed when fully extended but good news is that the rear seat doesn’t need to slide all the way forward along the rails so there is still plenty of room for the fixing point – no fouling!
All in all the product does exactly what I wanted it to do, it is solid , well made and designed , easy to install / remove and safe.
