Description
Comfortz Ford Transit Nugget Insulated Thermal Roof Wrap tailor-made specifically for Ford Nugget factory Poptop Roof.
This insulated easy-to-fit wrap comes in various colours to make your Nugget stand out from the crowd. It provides full blackout (apart from if you have the window option) for the roof of the Ford Nugget (With the Nugget light bleeding through the canvas is often an issue) and is also completely reversible with a reflective silver on the inside for the sunnier climates. As well as keeping the upstairs nice and warm we have also noticed a slight reduction in background noise from the campsite.
Fitting is as simple as wrapping the screen around the roof canvas of the Ford Nugget starting at the rear and then it is clipped together toward the front of the van . This process is even easier with the Nuggets roof being a rear elevator and no bonnet to get in the way.
The Ford Nugget roof wrap must be removed when lowering the roof, A great option if using solar panels on the roof or roof bars and boxes.
Available to choose from either no windows – or with the pvc window in the rear.
The pictures were taken on our final test fit – we’re awaiting some better pictures shortly.

We bought this for our 70 plate SWB Ford nugget. It fitted the pop top perfectly.
We tested it the first weekend it arrived in Devon and it poured with rain. The inside of the van was bone dry. When we took the cover off the pop top, the pop top canvas was completely dry.
We ordered a cover without windows as wanted to get a good blackout effect around the pop top. This worked really well in this respect.
It was quite chilly over night (mid March) and we had the diesel heater running over night. In the middle of the night I had to turn the heater down as it was too warm in the van. I stayed in the van previsouly overnight in the winter and found I had to keep the pop top closed for warmth, so this certainly made a difference.
To be honest, I didn’t find too much difference regarding blocking sound, but we bought it for weather and heat purposes.
It came with a nice pull draw bag to store in, which meant packing away after use was easy. Roll up and squeeze in the bag and kept everything else around it dry and clean. I aired for an afternoon in the conservatory at home and was fine to pack away. Would recommend.
