Pump arrived quickly and was stamped with VW logo. Fitted easily and firmly to the water pipe in the tank. The cable ended in bare wire and I couldn’t find any electrical connector in the packaging, but it was easy enough to wire the existing wiring to the new pump with a little junction box. New pump works perfectly and replaces an old pump which had become rather intermittent in its function.

Does what it says and identical to original so an OEM part.
One very slight issue is that a new grommet for the tank where the power cable enters would have been a benefit in the pack and not very costly.
It covers the possibility that the original is not serviceable for reuse. Also many seem to omit it when refitting due to difficulty getting cable through from tank and forcing grommet back into position which can damage it.
