Description
Replacement VW California Central Control Panel Rotary Knob Button, the colour matches the original facia perfectly. (this is not an inferior 3d printed version)
Due to a design fault in the original VW Control Panel, it is common for the knob itself to begin to fail to engage when using the menu section. This replacement knob is not an original VW Part but will act as a direct replacement for the damaged original rotary knob at a fraction of the price, whilst still looking factory fit.
For peace of mind why not purchase a spare a keep it in your glove box as to not get stuck with the roof up in the event of your button failing!
Below are some instructions which are available as a download. Although the instructions are for the genuine VW replacement knob, the fitting is the same for this replacement.

Quick service on delivery and informative video made it easy to replace. Great service and now I have a fully functioning control unit again for a few quid.

After an initial mix up on my part – this is an excellent alternative and far superior to the original VW part that’s £62.02 (part only) which breaks easily. It has a printed internal cog that grips over the cog inside the control unit perfectly, where as the VW part, even brand new has “grips” that go around the cog and wear out over time. Easy enough to fox yourself if you’re confident with removing parts and putting back together with a few small tools. Cheers guys, would 100% buy again (but shouldn’t need to now)
