240v socket issues

Hi guys.

Has anyone had to replace the 3-pin 240v plug/Hella plug on the sink unit? Any idea on cost? I realise that this is going to be a professional job which I think will have to wait until the next service, which is looming.

The Hella socket works OK on our 3rd hand '09 Cali, but the main 3-pin seems to have a resistance in seating the plug and doesn't work, even with hookup connected (noted in the central panel).

Got a price today form VW. Only about £12, so have ordered one.

Will see what it's like I think and go from there.

It is my understanding that you can get hold of a uk 3 pin mains socket that will fit on the end of the sink unit.

I have seen the mod but can't remember where, it may have been on the facebook forum.
