6.1 Ocean Internal lights.....Button for internal sensors

Hi, I have read all the post re internal lights. I understand how to turn on and off in camping mode. What I,m not able to do is stop the internal light coming on when opening the sliding door or switching on and off the engine. Yes they do go off after 12 seconds but how do I stop them coming on in the first place please? Help would be appreciated.
One more thing please. cali chris on the security vid talks about button for switching off and on the internal sensors. I do not seem to have that button on the side pillar.

This button is now deleted, you either set it from the display or double press the key fob when locking.
