Waxoyl time. Been putting it off since, well, forever!

Wheels off
Rear arch liners out
Rear exhaust box off
Rear bumper off
Spare wheel out
Tow bar cross member off. Unbelievably tight those big bolts!
All grommets out of inner sills.

I must have brushed 2kg of dried dust/dirt etc out of the chassis members!

Everything looked fine, solid as a rock. Tow bar cross member had a bit of surface rust. Sorted that with a wire brush. Good as new.

Pumped a whole 5 litres of goo into the chassis.
No matter how clean you try to be, it’s still a filthy job.

Stainless exhaust box polished up a treat.

Thanks fook that’s done for another 20 years.

Can I bring mine over please? :grin ;)

It is worth all that effort though. Planning to do mine later ... And that later never comes.

I looked at most of the similar products but went old school simply because it’s available at the local Halfwitts.

It’s expensive but worth it best protection I have ever used.
