A month in Spain and France- June

Booked to spend 2nd June to 3rd July is Spain and France. We get the Plymouth/Santander ferry out and back.

We have two young kids (2 and 4) who love camping and we'll be leaving the dog in kennels. We'll have surfboards and possibly a bike (not decided yet).

Any essential items we should bring that are hard to get out there? I'll take a full 907 gas bottle.

And any good recommendations of campsites around that area? Happy to drive a bit but would rather stay at each place for a few days or more.

I don't speak much Spanish at all but am fairly competent at French!

Matt, if you are taking your bikes or if you are putting anything on the bike rack you will need a red and white striped board on the back of the van

Remember to get your citair certificate. Needed in some french cities 4 euro to purchase 180 euro fine if stoped in clean air zone without it
