A pillar water leak

I don't want to redo the entire seal. Do you know where the leak in your roof was located?

I went up on a ladder and looked around the seal. I could see a split up above the passenger door. To be honest filling it with clear silicone stopped the water getting in but the sealant was looking a bit tired and cracked in lots of areas.
I’m still getting water getting in the toilet cassette area but no idea where it’s coming from… possibly from the flush rather than the roof or brake light?

I ordered 3 tubes of Sikaflex 522, and I'll be using them to rework the seals with another fine layer over the existing one, including those around the antenna, roof brake lights, and other areas. I've had a California Westfalia hard-roof for 14 years battling leaks and it is a real pain.

I ordered too a "Black RV Rain Gutter PVC Plastic Drip Irrigation Track" to get the water away from the back doors and perhaps the sides. Will see.

Czy ktoś jeszcze miał ten problem? Mam nadzieję, że to nie jest trudne do naprawienia. Czekam 9 miesięcy na nowy stopień i zlew. Zaplanowałem wiele podróży, więc nie chcę, żeby van zszedł z drogi, podczas gdy oni próbują go naprawić, ale nie chcę też, żeby w dłuższej perspektywie pojawił się jakiś problem z wodą lub pleśnią.

Hi it seems as the vans age we are all going to have to watch the white seal between the metal and fibreglass raised top. Gabriel suggested Sikaflex522, this might be the factory equivalent.
Does anyone know what the factory product is or what a dealership would use if you went back for this repair under warranty ?

I wondered if it was the aerial at the front. No sign of water getting in anywhere further back. I felt up in at the insulation infront of the top shelf and it was either a bit damp or just cold. Other than the step most things have been behaving pretty well for the last year. I still can’t understand why the step is such an issue. I see so many other vans with the same or similar step with no issues. Mine is totally unpredictable. Never fully works but sometimes it puts on a half arsed show for a few days. Usually when you don’t need it then nothing when you do. Is it a software issue? Hoping step 3 will be better but the second only worked for 6 weeks.

Black seals in my case.
I used some aluminium foil tape around the base of the aireal until I re-do with sikaflex and so far so good, but the rain last few days is not that heavy.
