Advice needed... 'Stop oil press stop motor service manual'

Hi guys,

Just looking for some advise, I bought a 2004 VW Transporter yesterday, went to start it this morning and this message has appeared on the dash, 'Stop oil press stop motor service manual', and currently will not start!!! Any advice please?

I think you have put this in the wrong section, a 2004 will not be a T6?

It means you have no oil pressure. Either no oil for the pump to pump, or a broken pump.

Looks like low oil pressure to me. Have you checked the oil level?
Did you buy it privately or from a trader/dealer?

Thanks Victor, it's a T5, was in a bit of a panic when I wrote the message

Bought it privatley, had the Breakdown service come and have a look at it and he believes it to dual mass fly wheel and possibly the injector seals pushing fuel back in to the tank.

Can't see why the dual mass flywheel would cause low oil pressure but diesel in the oil would.
