I have finally ordered a California Coast 6.1 after trying to justify one for 8 years. During that peroid, price has gone up at least £15k. Hey ho

Great fun trying to decide spec and colour:

starlight blue metallic

17" Devonport with 235/55 17 tyres and 17 inch chassis (whatever that is!)
80l tank
shower (and fancy [and silly expensive] extra interior lights)
mattress topper
3rd under seat drawer and upper bed net
fly screen for near side rear sliding window
tyre pressure monitoring
4 keys
high beam control
grey canvass with panorama window
rear camera

if only they did the Coast with 204hp ..

17" chassis gives 17" wheels and the bigger front disc brakes.

You are right about those interior lights: an expensive option. We hadn't checked them on our ordered coast at first, but after a trip with a courtesy vehicle (ocean) that we received this summer due to let us say the long delivery times, we were convinced. We had to have this: dimmable but at the strongest real reading lamps. Upstairs it's really dark and they're just easy. The ones in the tailgate are your reading lamps for the lower bed and when the tailgate is open, they provide enough light not to stand there in the dark. The ones in the kitchen cupboards are pretty useless in my opinion, but everyone has their own idea about this.
Greetings

Congrats.
Enjoy the van :thumb

Congratulations!!!
How does `grey canvass with panorama window` look like? Any chance you could upload a pic? Thank you?

I agree .. it’s great cruiser. I will use it more this year.

Really good fuel economy too.

47.1mpg average, I've got the same van and mine is more like 37.1mpg, what am I doing wrong?, is that the jet seal 109 making it more slippery?.

I cruise at around 65/70 mph.

And I get the van to coast on downhill sections instead of engine braking .. have to turn off ACC to activate coasting

I also have “super low rolling resistance” tyres.

I got 47mpg out of ours last week, driving down to Kent. Mind you, half of the M1 was at 50mph for road works and congestion, and the whole of M25 was the same ! !

That was a positively speedy day you obviously had the red carpet treatment :cheers
