Air con Aircon Air Conditioning cold drivers side but not passengers side?

Thanks for the reply, what sort of cost was it :(
Hi mate fortunately for me, mines still in warranty (it was like it from new), listers Coventry did the work so at least they should have some knowledge on the issue as well,
hope you can get it sorted

Hi, did you ever get this fixed as I had similar issues today, drivers side cold but passenger side hot/ambient out of all vents. @VW Guru is this expensive to fix via VW?
Hi, never did get this fixed, winter came so had no real need for the aircon. Actually turned it on a few weeks back when we had a brief warm spell, still get cold air to the drivers side and rear vents but all the passenger side front vents still have warm air. Van will be going in for MOT and oil service next month so might ask at the van centre see what they think

Thanks for the update, I shall ask Vw when I'm there in a few weeks and report back, just hope it's not a dash out fix as the sounds expensive, @VW Guru any ideas of an estimate to change the control flap motor?

Hi @KGCali It would be around the £600 mark to have the motor replaced :(

NOW FIXED - I'd had a repair on my aircon a few weeks ago so I went back to Bonair and they found the repair had leaked slowly so caused all the issues, they repaired it next day and recharged the system under my repair warranty so now all back working fine :)
UPDATE
I did eventually change the two lower temperature sensor and all working perfectly now, easy job :)

I'm having a very similar problem to this - with temperature set low I get ambient air in the front and cold air in the back in my 2017 T6 Ocean. I've tried a couple of diagnostic computers, but no fault codes, and also one of them offered a flap reset function which we tried a few times. It definitely did something, but the problem remains exactly as it was.

Reading the above It sounds like there might be a software fix relevant to this?

I eventually had an Aircon expert out to look at it, he found no issues or leaks so re gassed the system, still working fine 2 years later. It was about £70 with a years guarantee. VW van centre wanted £100 just to investigate the issue, LOL !

I should have said - having the system re-gassed was the very first thing I did, but this did not resolve the problem.

Did you read my previous post, mine was a hardware sensor fix, see ...
If that doesn't help take it an aircon specialist not VW.

Interesting - thank you. I have an OBD Eleven in the post now ...

Hey, can I ask where you purchased from and how much? I have Carista which was only about £30 for the dongle but annual license is £30 as well. I’ve read ODB Eleven is a better product which could work out cheaper in the long run if you don’t have to pay ongoing licence fees?
Cheers.

From Amazon. There are different options depending on which pack you want and widely varying prices. I went for Pro, but it remains to be seen whether that was the right choice!

Have you tried resetting the climate control flaps?

Turn on the ignition, press and hold both the AC and Front Vent buttons until both lights start to flash then you'll hear the flaps calibrating and the lights will stop flashing after 10-20 seconds.

I haven’t tried this method, although did try something similar via OBD port. When you say AC and Front Vent do you mean the ones marked in the photo?31BDE140-41E7-442F-8E4B-0FCB56EE486B.jpeg

Yes that’s it. Push them simultaneously and the lights will flash until the ‘reset’ is completed.
