Hot and Cold Air Con at the SAME TIME!

Help!
The air-conditioning on our 2006 LHD California is playing up. On the coldest setting, hot air comes out of the driver side vents and cold air comes out of the passenger side.
Any advice very welcome. thanks

I've got exactly the same thing although the other way around, LHD, cold on driver's side and warm on the passenger's side. Have you got climate control? No matter what setting I have on the passenger side it is always warm. Does anybody know if this is an easy fix? Is it just a diverter or is it the way that the vent is routed through the dash...bad insulation?
