Atera Strada EVO RV

Hi all, I purchased an Atera Strada EVO 2 to fit on my VW California T6.1, equipped with a Westfalia detachable towbar. Unfortunately the rack does not slide back far enough for the tailgate to open. Atera is telling me they designed a special version, being the Atera Strada EVO RV for this purpose. I seem only to be able to order it from Germany so can not test it first. Is there anyone with experience with this model that can assure me it slides back far enough?

I have the Atera Strada DL3 and it slides just far enough back for the tailgate to open but it's a question of millimeters. My long handlebar normal MTB won't fit on the inside rail without turning the handlebar and it turns out that my new e-mtb is too long for the rail. In short, you're right to want to test it before buying it.
For myself, I'm thinking of getting the Thule EasyFold XT.

Thanks, nice to know. Are you sure the Thule EasyFold XT does the trick? It does seem to be foldable enough to fit in the trunk at least.

No, I'm not sure and the price is eye watering so I'm not going to jump into it. It does seem to have a better load capacity than mine and the rail seems to be longer so my eMTB will probably fit. I'll probably take my smaller MTB on my next trip in June so I'm not under any pressure to change although being able to fold it for the trunk might tip the balance in favour.
