Bellows tear

We have a small tear/hole on bellows on our brand new Cali, is there a repair/patch kit available?

Nothing available from VW for a repair kit unfortunately, only complete replacements available.

Google ....Tear Aid Patches.....I have had one on mine for a couple of years and very good.

Another vote for Tear Aid patches Used them for tents, jackets etc in the past.
As a matter of interest Alex how much as a part only (ie no fitting) is the roof fabric?

I've ordered some canvas repair tape from Fiamma, the hole is only about 15mm, I'll post results

Is the bungee needed for the manual roof?

Sorry we don't know however, if your canvas has been caught in the scissor mech then yes it will need one as it's stops it from catching.

I have it and would say yes. It helps keep the fabric away from the roof mechanism.
Considering the price, it's a nifty little canvas saver

The Fiamma patch repair seems to have done the trick, it was only a nick. But you only get 3 small patches for your £20
