My wife won’t leave home without it!

Any recommendations for the best stuff sack to accommodate a dry robe (well a ‘d robe’ to be exact but pretty much the same thing!) please? Anything that will compress it down.

I have no concept of the size of bag we’ll need. Apols if it’s a daft question…

Thanks

Considered that but not an option…the dog will create and go off its food for a week (and the dog is my ‘wingman’)

I use cheap 27l ones from aliexpress. One roll, push the air out then roll and clip up. Work a treat.

My wife loves her moon wrap.
She can pull in her arms and look like a stick of lickmeitch

hang it from the hood on the back of the driver / passenger seat.

Tesco bag it is then.

I actually feel sorry for most them…it suggests there is something missing in their life that makes them take out their angst on others…that and a low IQ too lol

Do you need a bag at all? The purpose of a dry robe is to dry off after surf, swim etc. If you stuff it into a bag it will remain damp and will eventually develop its own unique aroma!

Microfibre towels can be a better option in a small camper for drying. They take up very little space and dry very quickly.

Never list anything for sale on the club facebook forum! Listed a beach table recently and had comments such as…

It’s scrap
Was it the one stolen last night
Leg is missing

Fair point - hadn’t necessarily thought of the ‘aroma’…yes we would be using for sup / canoe / wild swimming so they will be damp. We already use microfibre towels but our use case is to get warm and dry quite quickly.

Such wit - their comedic talent borders on genius at times.

Exactly. That's the purpose of a dry robe. Now people are wearing the things on a night out! Whilst vaping everywhere and pulling a trolley

So to complete the ensemble, when I go to draw my benefits, I need some Nike Trainers, a Dry Robe (?) and some Adidas or Puma Tracksuit bottoms, a shopping trolley and a Vape........I am glad I am blissfully ignorant of all of these things!
I'd rather wear leather trousers, jacket and drive my mark II Jaguar!

I agree with this. I use the robe post swim/paddle in cooler seasons and it will be damp and needs to air. It does take up so much space, but is so worth it for a warm snuggle when cold and wet. I use a hooded towel for warmer months that doubles for post shower at sites

We use cushion covers for ours when not using (not much compression but always in the van and comfy enough when folded inside out) and then just on back of front seats the rest of the time.

Cushion covers 21inch for medium with long arm and 16inch for 5-9s

I take one of our plastic boxes in the boot with all my swimming gear including wetsuit and dry robe. I love wild swimming in Scotland but you really need sites with drying rooms to make it practical with a wetsuit. I also love my dryrobe for going to site facilities to have a shower. Just take my toilet bag and towel and good to go.
Two great sites Bunree and Balranald have drying rooms!

We loved Bunree, such a great location.
We got lucky and bagged a pitch right on the shore.
What a sight to see when having breakfast.
Made me glad to be alive

This is a brilliant solution!
