Bigger Van...

Our 2010 Cali is fab but we are looking for something a bit bigger and with shower etc so we went looking yesterday. The findings are that nothing is as well designed as the Cali based on a van. No matter the manufacturer (other than one) they all are a combo of local authority office, with a hint of a local Indian takeaway and touch of Weatherspoons. Really unimpressed with materials and design.

There is only option that is light years ahead of everything (other than the normal Cali) and one that really stands is a Grand California! Next up find one....

We have just sold our Cali. Slowly looking for a bigger campervan . Narrowed it to the Westfalia Columbus and Sven Hedin . Like the Sven Hedin because it’s based on VW/MAN crafter. See Campersales .

Looked around for many years, great whites, ice cream van’s, bigger, better? In the end you buy what suits.
In the end the Cali Ocean came out way above all the options.
For us.
No.1 size, easy parking, height and length. Economy. Insurance.
Look on the camping sights, ie park4night, bigger vans very restricted for height and length.
2. As there are only 2 of us it’s perfect.
3. Decades of improvement’s ( apart from bellows gate) I think as good as you can get.
All in all buy what suits.
