I went in one of those at the NEC Show in Feb, they're basically a suite at a 5 star hotel on wheels. Insane luxury.
I'm guessing you'd need some sort of HGV licence to drive one, or your chauffeur & butler would do?

We had a good chat, they were lovely.and very friendly. Seemed happy enough.
We Germans tend to be quite reserved, however depends on what part of the country they are from... Prost from Bayern

Your California makes you happy, their 5 star hotel on wheels makes them happy, good luck to them, do I detect a certain amount of envy?

I notice the Eriba Car seems to be getting a lot of praise at the Motorhome show. It certainly looks an interesting proposition and starting at a shade under £72k based on a VW Crafter....

How much is it, once options have been added…?

The ‘anti-carpet’ crowd won’t like it.

I like it and the colour of decor is a nice change from a sea of white. Decent pricing too by today's standards.
From the pictures it looks like a better standard of 'carpet' than the cheap rubbish DIY converters use. That fold-down table is just crying out to be smashed off by the sliding door though. It really needs a safetly release mechanism in case of door whoopsies.

There is also Dethleffs Globetrail 600 DR which is quite similar to the Eribacar, both of them from Hymer Groupe.

That's a very salient point, a few on the Sven FB page have commented when you start adding all the options they found that the Sven was a better offering at similar money.

There’s a configurator in the Eriba Car webpage. I had a play and even adding most of the options it wasn’t much over £80k. Not seen one in the flesh but those that have like it and don’t have an issue with the fabric wall coverings - which Eriba claim are sound deadening and insulating which sounds plausible. If it’s as good as it appears it makes the Sven Hedin look very over-priced. Campervan Times opinion was that prices may have peaked, will be interesting to see if there’s any truth in this observation.

Eriba can be a 3 berth as well i believe.
Be nice to have a look around, apart from the cheap flap table by the door it looks good although a bit dark in the bed area.

We liked the old eriba car, Renault based poptop, if is has the hymer interior it will be excellent, our Etrusco uses all hymer parts and I am very impressed

Really like the look of them, think they offer a great option if you are looking at 6m VW/MAN campervan. Just pressed a few options on the configurator and the payload drops very quickly. Not sure about how Hymer/Westfalia payloads would compare once they were loaded up.
