Black Friday VW servicing deal

Just had an email to say that until December 2nd special offer, You can buy 2 services from VW - a major & a minor up front for £382.80 compared to paying for them separately at £540.00 & payable in 12 interest free instalments.

As mine is now slightly overdue for a major service which would normally be £360 on its own it would seem silly not to go for it.

Available for all vans over 3 years old & under 200,000 miles.

Also transferable if the van is sold.

That seems like excellent value - is it inc VAT? I made an enquiry a couple of weeks ago with Breeze and the same deal was £399+VAT. Do you have the link?

Its live if you go on volkswagen-vans.co.uk under service plans. Yes it does include VAT and says it was £478.80 previously which matches your figure.

Have just paid & got confirmation. Only limitation is that I can't book a service for 48 hours.

Just signed up, seems like a reasonable option..... although I was planning to go independent from next service, this offer seduced me!

Did you get an email confirmation? I tried to check that mine was set up ..... VW online chat just gave me a VW Finance phone number, which answered by "Skoda Finance"! Although I did manage to get a human to confirm it was set up... despite them quoting the wrong monthly Direct Debit figure. One day VW will surprise me and make me feel they actually want my custom!

Yes got immediate order number when I filled in the direct debit details & a confirmation email a couple of minutes later - that was late last night.

I've got a prepaid service due in Feb. and have VW do a service every second year which would mean 2023 and 2025 in my case which would be good value but 8 year old by then. Might be a good selling add on though.

I wouldn't bother buying now if you don't need it for 3 years. Ive only gone for it as my major service is due now.

I looked at the 4 services + 1 MOT service plan. But unfortunately this is not included in the VW Black Friday deal.

I will book the 2 services plan tomorrow.

The website fell down for me at the "enter your mileage" question, but the lady in the service department at Swansway Birmingham says they have had a lot of people taking up the offer and so the system's just creaking under the strain. 'Keep trying' seemed to be the advice, although it was working at her end so we set it up over the phone.

I've already got a service plan running from when I purchased the vehicle (next and final service on that plan booked for 8th Dec), so the website won't currently let me buy another plan. Offer running until 2nd December. I'll call Breeze tomorrow and see if I can get the next 2 services covered.

Anyone managed to setup the dd with a joint account? Kept on getting an error where it couldn’t validate the account details as it wanted first and last name. Gave up and just paid it in full.
And thanks for posting about this offer.
