I got into my Cali today after 4 days of no use and a warning bong sounded then loads of warning lights on the dashboard. They were adaptive cruise not available (I think), ABS light and tyre pressure warning saying it’s unavailable then the warning light for it. I drove it and they went off after about 2 mins. The Cali drove perfect. I stopped and started it and no bong and no warning lights. Any ideas before I mention it to my local VW van centre and go down the warranty route?

We had the same on our T6. It came on and off before staying on ABS sensor fault. This is a common issue. Search ABS sensor.

So after a few days of use the Cali warning lights are on all the time now. I’ve got no ACC, no ABS, no stop start, no tyre pressure monitor and weirdly the central locking won’t dead lock (press lock button twice). I’ve just renewed my all in policy again and even though the policy more or less stopped then started for the next 2 years I’ve still got to wait 30 days before I can make a claim. The only thing is the MOT is due back end of June and I can’t take the van for diagnostic then hopefully a warranty repair until the 7th June. I’m hoping they can get me in quick, get it diagnosed then repaired before the MOT is due. The service man at my local VW van centre has told me that he will try his best to get it booked in and fixed before the Mot. I honestly thought that i wouldn’t have to have the 30 days before I claim as I had the All in policy for the past 2 years and have renewed as soon as it expired. Ah well nothing I can do apart from cross my fingers…….

It'll probably cost you more to get it diagnosed by VW than to get it repaired at your local garage and I'd be surprised if the ABS sensors are covered by the All in warranty.
