Boot strut bolt failed !!! Big Bang.

Well just went to close the rear door and one almighty bang. Looks like the top bolt that secures the strut has failed and sheered off. Hope this is covered by extended warranty.

Not tight enough is the reason for this failure. Think i will go and give mine a nip up.

That's a bit worrying if you use the bike rack like myself and stand underneath it.
