Bosch Aerotwin Wipers

I purchased a replacement, drivers side, wiper from Halfords.
Using their guide I came up with Bosh Aerotwin AP 24 U.
It comes with 4 adapters to be used as needed.
I cannot for the life of me get it to fit.

I think I may have picked up the wrong kit.
Have any forum members fitted these?
I have a 2012 SE.

Do you need AR24 retrofit?

I believe I put AR24s on my 2009...

They raise the wiper arms significantly and I've been led to believe that if used on a facelift vehicle they foul the top of the bonnet... Not experienced this myself though.

Thanks for the responses. I'll be getting the stock VW parts I think. They used to have Bosch replacements in the shop. But cannot find them now.
