A bit of a long shot but do you still have a fridge hinge spare I will gladly pay you for it.I have some you can have one free
Can you screw the hinge on two pieces of wood, trying to move them like the glass lid? That way you can test the stiffness with more leverage?Hi all,
Before finding this thread I ordered a very expensive hinge from the club shop to replace a worktop hinge on my T6 ocean. It has arrived and looks identical but is so stiff I can’t move it - is that right?
Doesn’t seem like a good idea to attach it to a glass worktop to see if it works there with more leverage and I’m not sure I can get the hinge to the right position in order to fit it in any case.
Whilst we’re on the topic in order to fit it do I need to remove all 3 hinges and the gas support strut or can I get away with just the broken one - it’s the one closest to the gas support strut.
Many thanks
Pip
