Buying ex rental cali

Is 30k miles and 4 years old still okay for a secondhand one?
Absolutely. Some Cali's have extended 5 year warranties so worth checking with the seller.

I’m looking for an Ocean at the moment and I’ve spotted this one - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-de...3&postcode=PR73QQ&price-to=65000&revisit=true

I’ve spoken with them and they’ve advised it’s their ex-rental where they’d let people take it out for a certain period when they’re thinking of buying one, to see if they like it.

That’s all fine, but the state of the sink and hobs make me think it’s been battered. I did ask and the salesman told me the hobs usually get marked easily after the first use. But looking at others that are at the same age their appliances seem to be in better condition.

I went to see this one today. Looks okay, everything seems to be working. Inside was a bit “grubby” in places. Sink and hob were unclean and greasy. A few marks around the interior that I may have to get a specialist to clean/remove. Moss on the underside of the roof lip.

They did say their valeter has been away so they haven’t had chance to clean it. I’m going to go back next week and see it again.

Kids obviously loved it as soon as they saw it, but kids love anything new :,)

I have 3 for sale here if interested? All of them have the original factory warranty extended to 5 years.

I did have a look at the Copper Bronze / Candy White one actually a couple of days ago on AutoTrader. I do like it but think it’s just outside my price range by about 3k unfortunately

Give me a call tomorrow. Phone number is on the website.

Looks like they have stopped taking orders.

Plenty of deals around though. Try VW Breeze in Poole
Breeze Poole have an excellent reputation, and recently posted that they have a number of used Calis as well as new ones, in stock.
