Cadac EN417 on non Cadac BBQ

Has anyone tried putting this HP regulator on to a non cadac BBQ for instance a party grill - my thinking being the 500g gas canisters are a lot cheaper than the camping gas c470 ones.

Plan A: Party Grill 400 with cadac HP adaptor on small cylinders (cheap gas)
Plan B: back up with the Cali's 907

The party grill looks a bit bigger than the cadac and also has more wind protection when just being used as a gas hob... maybe i'm over thinking this.

I'm also not keen on having a spare 907 rolling around the boot!

I know that my slidepod uses a Cadac HP adapter and that works fine with my smev.

Sounds like it should work with most stoves then?

I believe it reduces the pressure to 30millbars so as long as your stove can accept that then it will be fine
