Mine are winging their way to where the Cali is..think I will get Kwikfit to fit at same time as MOT..and I think the Solar pack that WG has fitted to finish off.
Hi WelshGas and BerndRos,
ours also came from tradevanaccessories, the original instructions were crap, but they did send a pdf file which was more helpful and this along with WG notes we finally fitted the bar today (my poor hands) it was really worth the struggle !!!

got it last year fromWhere can you buy the red vinyl as I want to do the bottom strip as the two on the grille are already done.
I hope you're both coming to the June Forum meeting. We could make a Triptych.
Have to remove the Front Under Engine plastic cover. The brackets fit using an existing bolt and nut and holes already in the chassis. Replacing the cover afterwards is straightforward but tight against the new brackets.Regrettably not.
WG..any specific tips please, when I get KwikFit to fit the front BAR at the same time as MOT.
The longest I stay in 1 place without using the van is 4/6 days and the lowest I've been on the Control panel is 60 % this Christmas with the heater on constant as well as fridge and lights in the evening as well as WiFI and charging iPads etc: So you should have no problem. Thanks WG...
Have ordered your type of solar kit BTW and asked Roger to fit the rear wire same as you have. As Cali will mostly live here in Portugal I guess 100W will be adequate ?
Yes, nice grille! Can you notice the little tweak?
First chance of a pic this weekend. Still a few more tweaks to go.

As we're talking about something that's sporty looking your MX5 looks the same as the one I had, white coupe with gunmetal wheels. Is it the Venture edition? It's a van , if it rides got all the kit we need to sleep-eat and get coasy it works for me.
Seen plenty others here pimping thier Cali's ....not me thanks .
As these are populars vans you find plenty of lowering kits , spoilers , wheels , etc on the www to give it a makeover.
Make sure you will not get yourself in a situ arriving with your 50.000 € Cali and not being able to enter that lovely spot becose your Cali is to much lowerd .
As for me it's not always a black carpet under the wheels....
That's not an old fossil sitting next to the Cali, on a C & CC site is it?

Yes I did, and the man that fitted it did a little spot weld by the brackets, so that in a slight forward tap, the bar will not move.
