Camperjam 5-7July 2019 - Club Camping Available

Looks brilliant! Would really like to go to that but we have some stuff that would need juggling I'm looking into it...

great that this show appears to attract a more diverse range of people than some others I've attended

Hmmm I really like the idea of being with the club if we come, it would be great to meet some of you...but should we book family camping? We have kids 7 and 9, are the club areas considered not really suitable for children? I won't be offended!

Can’t make the full weekend, clashes with prior, hoping to make Saturday to check it out. Look fantabulistic

That's a weekend where I'd like to be in 3 different places at the same time. Unfortunately this I will have to miss

Club pitch is a good idea but not sure how it would work as its pretty much a free for all in the camping area.

Some groups do camp together. Out to the back on the right. Last year there were 2 groups that I noticed, One was a forces/services group, I think. You probably have to apply to the organisers.

I am part of team that puts on the show (my job is the displays and show n shine) so anything you want to know just ask...
Club Camping with the Cali Club, choose VW California Club (VWCC) from drop down menu of club lists when selecting club camping option. Plot is marked out b4 you arrive according to number of vehicles booked in.... Club Camping is a sep area to others and each club has allocated spaces. Benefits are you are going to find people to talk to immediately or making sure you and friends are together when arriving at diff times - no space to try to reserve! It's a quiet area too and fine for families. Home is Where You Park It is like a free for all when the gates open! Likewise general or family camping - you have to find your own space but you do get to choose a bit if you arrive early!
I park down on SSVC area down hill from Club Camping, and can be found there - though more likely to see me on show field. Do come and say hello and I'll drive up to Club on the Fri eve to see if there is a group of you to say hello to!
And NO football this year thank goodness .. that was a bit weird last time (for me anyway)

If you like dogs you'll love the K9 dog show bit - lots of fun! Site is dog friendly and acres and acres to explore for walks away from camping and festival areas
And for anyone with children from toddlers to teens this really is a family friendly show - loads of activities
and some decent bands and tribute acts
(If you've not been b4 prepare for the sight of Sat night fancy dress ...it's always an eye popper!)

I'd have loved to go but it's a bit far for me this year - next year I hope to have had a new hip and be much more mobile!

We have booked to go to Camperjam https://www.camperjam.com this year Anyone else going and booked into the VW California club group pitch?
Yes we have booked, and we also have booked to go on the VWCC pitch- But have been informed by the organizers that there are not enough VWCC members there to warrant a cub pitch? So if anyone from VWCC intends to go, please book as VWCC.

Yes if only a few book the club pitch then the organisers will reserve the right to re-allocate nearer the time
I will ask office how many are actually booked in there at moment and see what they will let us get away with as a minimum ...

Good news! The VWCC has just reached the minimum of 6 vehicles needed to ensure plot is reserved and marked out ready in club camping area. So for anyone else thinking about it - there will be a small and friendly group of Cali owners to join if you wish!
And if anyone has already booked into another camping area but fancies changing to club area all you need to do is ring the office and ask them - there's still time!
Looking fwd to coming up to say hello...

Hi David, do you have a number to hand for the office? Ill move my stall over from the family area....making it 7 :D

Just booked so that's another for the club area. Only ever been a day visitor before so really looking forward to it. Fingers crossed the weather is kind!
