Take a small scythe or sickle. It's not that hard to do and a lot less noisy. And quite zen to do... Just mow the part that you will need for your stay. After you have left it will grow back soon enough.
I drive my Cali over gravel covered membrane at home - but I admit that the earth was fairly well compacted under the membraneWill weed membrane be hard wearing enough for vans driving onto it?
That is my plan, but I've been told I need to get insurance on the land as I'd ultimately be responsible if anyone was injured on that land wild camping as I'd essentially be inviting them onto the land. Why not just tell us all where it is so that Cali owners can wild camp on it? That should control the undergrowth and bring joy to lots of people.

By coincidence I visited the land today, and as you can see by the first picture by the tread mark that Range Rover was slipping in full raised 4 x 4 mode so it'd be impossible in the Cali. I think I need to go with the membrane covered with stones idea.
Very true.Sheep only eat short grass - goats would do it but they are escapologists!
You probably have a point, I had a Defender previously and that made much lighter work of getting off it!Must have the Chelsea Tractor edition wheels installed.
