Campsite near London tube

Lee Valley Sewardstone campsite has a bus that stops right by the entrance and takes you to Walthamstow Central Victoria Line. When we stayed it was full of campers heading into town. Plus it’s on the right side of London if you’re coming from the north
Great. How about buses when returning later in evening.. is there a nite bus that stops at the campsite?

Out of Town : Lee Valley C&C

Ponders end Train station just up the road from The site approx 30 minutes into London. (Liverpool Street)

Site is right next to the Olympic Water park (Rapids etc) &
Grand Union Canal - can walk / cycle direct to London in the summer

The Lee Valley C&C is nowhere near the Grand Union Canal. It is on the River Lee Navigation Canal. To get to the Grand Union Canal by water (or bike on the tow path) you’d need to follow the River Lee Navigation to the Olympic Stadium, then follow the Hertford Union Canal to Victoria Park, then follow the Regents Canal to Paddington where you will find the Grand Union Canal (Paddington Branch), and this eventually feeds into the Grand Union Canal.

See maps.

Thanks for this spot. It could be quite useful for us, our sons in-laws live 30 mins away.
The Edmonton site in the same group is alongside the same canal a few miles closer to London & a very short walk to Ponders end overground station. Trains every half hour, takes 20mins, Last train from Liverpool Street Station is 23.43.
