Charging with solar panel

Hi all - I have a solar panel I used to use to keep my batteries topped up when the camper was left for long periods. I simply plugged it into one of the cigarette lighters. Does any one know if it is possible to keep all three batteries topped up in the Cali using this method and if so which cigarette lighter point I should use? Many thanks.
