Club Joker 'vanfluencer' video

he went to a 'vegan camp out 2024' and wears a t shirt saying so. bet that was a barrel of laughs round the bbq. mind you,all that money saved buying real sausages and burgers paid off. now he can put his toffu and lentils in the fridge.

It’s a lovely van and would suit a lot of people, me included, but for the extra height and loss of storage.

Yes, the guy is a little annoying, but I can see how many people would find his style engaging. For the rest of us, well, we’ve all got access to that little ‘+10 second’ button. I use mine a lot ;)

We’ve had our T6 for just over 5 years now and can appreciate the plus points of the Club Joker, the shower/toilet, no concern re camping in high winds with our pop top,
.It is also still a viable ‘daily driver’, not a ‘big van’. He didn’t however address stability in high winds when driving or is there a ladder to access the top bed….. maybe in the next video.
Personally his style didn’t bother me, nor does whether he profits from it . It’s all info and alternative views and basically that’s why I’m on this forum.

loss of storage.
It's more loss of boot space rather than storage. Less room obvs for larger items but plenty of storage cupboards and areas. Also all bedding goes up top in the roof nose.

is there a ladder to access the top bed…
There is a removeable bottom step and some "cutout steps" in a panel to enable climbing up. You can see the cutout steps in this video (7mins 30s) but the removeable step is not fitted in this video.

Step can be seen in this video (19min 40s)

As a new Cali Ocean owner I hadn't even heard of a Club Joker until I joined this forum, and was therefore interested to see this video from some popular #vanlife influencers who have just bought one. I'm impressed - but hope to manage a few more years without needing a toilet in the van...

I've watched this couple on an off for a few years. They change vans more often than my underwear. Not sure who is paying for all their conversions, trips etc. How these van-lifers stump up a possible £80,000 (my guesstimate) for a Club Joker baffles me.

They sold over £60k worth of tickets when they raffled their Citroen box van conversion. They’ll have paid some commission / fees from that, but still a good chunk of the price of the Club Joker.

Mrs Acer thinks it looks like a hearse (and she is never wrong of course;)).

Ironically, a California could carry a coffin, but I suspect that the Joker would struggle :D

Is money obtained by raffles taxable, I wonder?

Ice cream van maybe, hearse no. :D

No I am sure you can slide a coffin in from the back up over the kitchen area and on to the top bed, we looked at a club Joker, both fixed roof and pop top before becoming members of the Great White Society!
Well, now I know that the joker can accommodate a coffin, I’ll get myself on the waiting list for one :thumb
