'Awesome' always gets my goat.Im now banning "querky", "cool", and "amazing" in my house. I've had my fill for the year...
...And used the bed the wrong way around on the first night!Amazing how they can "sell" the Club Joker before they've even used it. Only stepped foot in it for the first time that day.
Other than the amazing Wingamm 540 (over £100k!) The Globecar Summit Prime would be my first choice at that length - vid below:Sorry to see the last available one go as this would have been our next step as the 5.4 metre availables like the
Dethleffs Globetrail 540DR Advantage or Hymer Blue Evolution 540
Just seem a bit too ‘ big’ for our needs.
It wasn’t brand new anyway. They do come up second hand from time to time.Sorry to see the last available one go as this would have been our next step as the 5.4 metre availables like the

Ford wet cambelt engine, same as new transporter, how many speeds in auto, if it is six it is quite inefficientWhat about the Ford Bailey Alora 69-4T
Or the 69-4I for island bed.
Can’t go wrong for £69k brand new !
Can increase manufacturer warranty from 3 years to 6 years !
And body damp warranty for 10 years.
Automatic.
Diesel truma heater.
Absolute bargain for £69k
Change my mind
I was in the Bailey Endeavour facebook group for a while and that might change your mind. Seen examples of rust and damp issues on brand new vans, rooflights which appear to have been installed by Stevie Wonder ahead of a global silicone ban, overhead glass panels seemingly shattering for no reason and someone having to wait weeks/months to get it replaced (on last check they were driving around with the glass duck-taped together). Am sure the majority of their vans are decent enough but it’s a no from me.What about the Ford Bailey Alora 69-4T

We looked at a chausson and bailey on a ford, the six speed automatic was awful at motorway speeds, it needed longer gears, the bailey is cheap for a reason, seems to be using older ford chassis, it would be ok in a 2 ton tourneo but not so good in a 3.5 ton motorhome. the 8 speed Aisin is common to ford & PSA 1.5 and 2 litre diesels, it works well in my daughter's BerlingoTransit is now 8 speed
(Was previously 6, but wouldn’t say that it was inefficient. My friend had a Tourneo with the 6 speed DSG, was very smooth - we had an 2007 Audi TT 3.2 DSG at the time as comparison).
Both the ones I had didn’t have it.Wandahome certainly knows the Joker. I don’t think I’ve seen one yet without this window.

Can't understand why they have so many avid subscribers. Are these two always that daft?
Prone to mishaps and bad luck I would say!Are these two always that daft?
They’ve had to part company with the van and I suspect it is the one now for sale at Campersales (both were 23 plates with tow bar)
Suspect they couldn’t get the insurance cover they wanted? Or weren’t able to find the purchase perhaps…. Can’t think of anything else….
I’ll save everyone time: he took 6min 30sec (for real) to say: “We lost the Club Joker. But I won’t tell you why. We were not involved in an accident”. That’s it. That’s literally it.
Another forum showed that a 10 year HP agreement was taken out at the same time they announced that they had bought the van.Suspect they couldn’t get the insurance cover they wanted? Or weren’t able to find the purchase perhaps…. Can’t think of anything else….
So you think they bought it, realised the terms and conditions and returned it to the dealer?Another forum showed that a 10 year HP agreement was taken out at the same time they announced that they had bought the van.
It is standard for any HP agreement to include restrictions on taking vehicles abroad. I understand VWFS are ok with up to 60 days in EU anything else needs their specific permission, other lenders have their own T&Cs but I would imagine a few months in the USA could well be unacceptable as the repatriation logistics in the event of a default on the loan could be a nightmare.
