What type of entertainment would you like to see at next years Cali's on the Farm?

This is YOUR meet so we want your feedback?

You have two options.

Re: Cali's on the Farm 2015 - Entertainment Poll

I selected 80's band as it's closest to what would suit me but what I would really like to vote for would be an all rounder type band that has a good mix of a bit of something for everyone.

:goodone

Re: Cali's on the Farm 2015 - Entertainment Poll

I was going to for a joke but I thought everyone would of chose it !

By the way, once the poll has finished we will put up a shortlist of acts with their youtube links, the winners will be the ones who we book.

Re: Cali's on the Farm 2015 - Entertainment Poll

How about a singing stripper :thumb

Get some one from VW HQ down to do a talk on roof corrosion?

How many nights will there be entertainment? Just Saturday?

80's band for me

cheers

Alex There will be background music Fri night as most people arrive and live music on sat
Night.

60's band for me - How about The Who :D

I'd fly back from NZ for that :upsidedown :upsidedown :upsidedown

Whoever you choose I'm sure you'll have a great time. :bananadance :bananadance :bananadance

By coincidence, I turned up at a NZ Motor Caravan Association (NZMCA) event today for the first time. Mine was the only Cali. They'd booked a school and had about 50 campers on the sports field and were using the school hall for events, but still using washing and cooking facilities in the vans supplemented by takeaways. Slipped away after an hour as we weren't prepared to camp only 5 miles from home and didn't realise it was a whole weekend event

We'll be better prepared next time including getting the Beach certified with my home built Pod.

Big thing over here is self-containment, i.e. able to camp independently for 3 days. Includes 24 ltr fresh water, 24 ltr grey water, sealed bin and porta potti and taking it all away with you at the end.

Too many people being irresponsible and dumping waste in wild places spoiled it for the rest.

Andy

I don't mind really, but I suppose an all rounder would be good - Anything thats gets everyone together in the marquee, with beers and dancing is good :clap

All rounder for me, we are a varied bunch us cali owners :goodone

based on experiences of organising Camperjam and the much smaller intimate Split Van Club AGM weekends, a good solid pub rock band that plays covers of well loved anthems and songs from 60s to now always appeals across a wide spectrum of tastes...
but it depends on whether its all about having an ambient background to socialising or a get up on your feet thing!
Personally I love the idea of a comedian from Milton Keynes taking centre stage :D
oh..I think they already are on tour...

keep the votes coming please, we hope to make a decision by the end of the month.
