Contacted the repair shop who carried out the work. They are willing to re-do the sealant job in a couple of weeks time. Hope they manage to get the sealant off without causing other issues.

I have replaced all of the vents on my Truma system with the permanently open versions. Is this enough? Has anyone taken it further by fitting the German fillet around the back of the fitting.

Sorry if this is a stupid questing but don’t you need the one in the bathroom to be able to close to stop water?

I have a plan to cover the vent just whilst we use the shower. Once it’s trialled and if it works I will post it on here. The vent I have replaced it with is still louvred so should shed most of the water it just can’t be closed
