- I’m looking to do some extras on my 2022 VW beach.
  • solar power upgrade - thin with extra power
  • Lithium batteries
  • two tone respray
  • seat covers
  • pull out trays to include top opening fridge and plater and cutlery compartments
  • bike rack
  • Better bed system currently does not work well
  • Extra storage solutions - thinking similar to the bags on the new T7 in the back wonders
And some general advice on a few other extras. Looking to make it more convenient and use space better. I have around 10,000K so I’ll have to prioritise.
Does anyone have any advice or especially recommendations for companies that could do this, I’m looking for quality rather fit in as much in to the budget. I’ve tried a few custom shops but they have come back and said we only work on our own rebuilds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can’t see where you are located (but that might be due to my phone)
Roger down in Somerset installed my solar Solar Camper Solutions
Seat covers you can do yourself
Duo tone paint. The cost of a spray job can vary greatly. Is it all over colourchange or is half staying existing colour? Do you only want the exterior painted or door openings etc? Body shop should be able to do that for you.

What do you mean by better bed system?
The one in the 2022 has two sections the seats plus another that extends the bed. This section is a pain and it would be good to have something that was more practical and had cupboards included and included the section of bed needed. I’ve got an idea in my head and it would be the frame that connects to the 2 pullout trays with 4 boxes one box being a top opening fridge the other that puts cutlery and plates (chopping board as a lid), so it’s all in my head :)
