Dent in Cali roof

The neighbours clay roof tile slipped and bounced off our Cali roof leaving a dent, this isn’t visible until the roof is up. The PDR companies, I’ve tried 3 don’t want to know as they say it needs to be accessed via the roof lining. It’s going to the insurance companies designated repair centre for a quote on Weds, I might add we don’t want it done here we are going to push to have it repaired at the dealership as I want the experts messing with the roof if anyone, any thoughts here from anyone with this annoying issue? The dent can only be seen once the roof is up, would we better off leaving it or would you have to get it sorted?

I personally would get it sorted if not this could have additional problems further down the line with any warranty issues with the roof and definitely insist on it to going to VW I hope everything works out for you.

I take it your neighbour's insurance will be covering the repair?

I think a dent in the roof can be easy repaired as it is aluminium.
I would ask for a new roofshel or wait until your 2015 Cali is due for corrosion repair (that is if not yet done)
