Devon & Cornwall Beach Sites

A lovely uncomplicated campsite located near Gorran Haven on the south coast of Cornwall, overlooking some stunning beaches a short walk away.
Stayed there twice last year, although for us, would avoid the high seasons.
Great bar along with home cooked breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

We've stayed here. Recommended by friends, who go here most years. We went with our 2 kids and dog. It was all great. Lovely area and nice walk to The Hidden Hut for a great lunch !

Don’t forget they also own http://www.tatams.co/ in Portscatho. Brilliant coffee & Pastéis de nata( they buy them frozen from Pastéis de Belém in Lisbon. So delicious
They latest venture is a pub https://www.standardinn.co.uk/
The Sunday lunches are booked until May. The pub is very near treloan campsite.

My son lives in Cornwall and he rates the hut and the pub (not been to tatams) very highly, spesh the roast :thumb

Crazy money. If you must go, stick to the Roseland / Carrick Roads / Helford. It’s just a far nicer area of Cornwall, always has been, always will be.

As long as you know the beach can get very lively with parties at night in the summer months...
We went last weekend and stayed at Tristram on the terraces at Polzeath again. Had a great time, dinner in the Atlantic the other side of the harbour and a lovely walk on the SW path.

Campsites do vary in cost but when a lot of people spend £40/50/60/70/80k plus on a van, a few quid extra per night is neither here or there to be fair.
