Dubflectas fitting issue

Hi folks

I had a pair of dubflectas from my T6 kombi that have 4 clips for each side, and now trying to fit them to a Beach but the clips dont seem to push deep enough into the window channels.
Anyone else had this issue? Do I need a different type of deflector?

Push them in with a spatula (or other thin bit of plastic) until they can't go further; then shut the window.
