Hi, We accidentally fully lowered the roof onto a tree branch on drivers side. As a result the roof doesn’t completely close at the back by about 5cm drivers side. At the front it’s closed but shifted back about 5mm. The motor drive works as normal, no apparent bends in the hinges or structure. We need to find someone who can fix this and it’s proving difficult. Seems like our insurance will pay out. Suggestions recommendations needed of competent mechanic, engineer ideally in London East Anglia area but will travel if necessary. I think the central hydraulic ram needs replacing, repairing? vwT5 2006 reg. cheers David

Pictures of the van with roof closed, and close ups from the mechanism could help us.
