Elevating roof specialist in the North West

We have owned our van (2007 California)for five years but noticed problems with the hydraulic roof over the last year. Started with slow opening requiring a little push pressure needing applying to the roof and the pump mechanism seemed to get noisier and now the roof is only opening about 3/4 of full height. Also roof charged itself up one night this summer which it hasn't done before. I have searched the forums and think it is related to the hydraulic pump and rams but I am not confident enough to attempt to repair. We live near Manchester and would like recommendations of suitably qualified dealers/ specialists in the North West area that can carry out work on the roof/ hydraulic system.

Your should find him with that but it is Mark Volksvans (without the S on mark). He's near Matlock.

No didn't find anybody but managed to top up the pump and it appears to be working. Time will tell. Thanks for the response. Now having problems with the fridge not coming on, so that's another new adventure

Check the rams for leaks. Just for peace of mind and it's not much work.
