Let's face it. I guess that the tree was there first so you can't really blame it. Given the visual and audio aids fitted one has to question the awareness of the driver?

Haha, yes we are plain stupid. No no, if you would see where it was where I hit that pole, you wouldn’t say that because the audio ‘aids’ make a lot of noise constantly and the visual is me looking not to hit our letter box (which I have never hit in half a year of ownership good of me ). But still, I have to pay more attention. I blame it on the fact that I was gone from 05:30 that morning and had a stressful working day behind me. Or I was drunk, whatever: it happened and I'm not going to grieve for it. It's no use crying over spilled milk.

Looks very white from here

Not sure what white they use on the 2 tone Ocean Red. I'm guessing a generic white polish will be fine, no need to be a specific VW one.

An update: tried T cut but it didn't make any difference, could this be because the mirrors are plastic? I have no idea BTW...
