After collecting our Beach at the start of February we’re now on our first proper break away with it. We did do one night in late Feb, pitching up in sub-zero temperatures was interesting and did at least set a bench mark of ‘it’ll never be this cold again’!
Three nights at the C&CC site at Oxford to explore some new experiences for us despite having camped with our T4 previously. We now have two children for a start (5 & 1) and an air beam drive away awning to replace the old one with poles. Plenty of areas to improve on (beds, awning attachment, storage organisation) but generally a good couple of days camping wise.
A word on the Oxford site, decent place that is conveniently located for the city centre and has a Go Outdoors shop right next door to stock up on all those essential extras you need to camp! It is a bit noisy at night, especially for those sleeping upstairs.
