Many thanks. The red lever wasn't set to 100% closed. Had no idea what that was for.Valve in rear wardrobe is likely open.
Allows you to drain the water tank without going through the grey water tank.
Look under bottom shelf in rear wardrobe. Left hand side
All in the Handbook. Many thanks. The red lever wasn't set to 100% closed. Had no idea what that was for.
Maybe the winter valve is open on the heater?Hmm. I've got exactly the same problem but my valve is defo 100% closed. Brand new van too.
I thought mine was 100 percent closed after silent running kindly pointed me in the right direction. However I had to force it an extra mm right into the plastic groove.Hmm. I've got exactly the same problem but my valve is defo 100% closed. Brand new van too.
The heater is not connected to the water system in any way, it operates on blown air.Maybe the winter valve is open on the heater?
I think that's on the GC? The OP has a 6.1.Maybe the winter valve is open on the heater?
Yes, that's it.On this topic, I emptied the fresh tank yesterday. There was no single stream of water like a tap, instead it just appeared to dribble out from several areas of the undertray!
This can’t be correct can it?

If you think how a valve likes this works, it absolutely shouldn’t need force to close, it’s purely positional. Good to hear you’ve found a fix, the handle hasn’t been fitted square!Turns out if I position the lever perpendicular to the van, it seems to not leak. This is well back from the ‘close’ position, because the water tank was not installed square to the van. As I said, it’s both bad design and bad installation (a good design wouldn’t hinge on the water tank being installed correctly).
yes, that makes sense. I was thinking about the other comments upthread and/or in other threads, which tended to suggest the right position required really pushing the handle hard. (This sort of makes sense, in that shutting a ball valve shouldn't be similar to spinning a roulette wheel.)If you think how a valve likes this works, it absolutely shouldn’t need force to close, it’s purely positional. It all depends on where the leakage is coming from.sorry to be resurrecting this again, first fill of freash water, and the water was dripping out steady from under van, thought it might just be spillage, but after about 3 hours, fresh tank is empty, have messed about with the lever in all positions, but closed position makes no difference, booked in with dealer and they have said they will need it a week to remove the rear cabinets in order to fix it, is there no easy access if van is on a 4 x poster ramp and all plastic undertrays are removed?, rather than leaving van in for a week? cheers
Yes. Fresh water tank, but only on draining tank.Wasn’t there a thread about a plug in the bottom of the tank which wasn’t fitted square? Can’t remember if it was the fresh water tank or not.
