Fridge keeps turning off - no answers in previous threads

Thanks. The batteries do get to a full charge (12.9v) when driving, using the solar and on EHU. So I’m mystified as to why fridge keeps switching off. The batteries have never been below 50% in the two years I’ve owned the van, 12.1 is the lowest voltage I’ve seen.

You have the regenerative breaking?
I don't, and while driving, my batteries are charged up to 14,2V.
On EHU and solar, your batteries should also be charged up to over 14V.
If not, there is something wrong with the batteries, or charging unit.

Thanks. I do get up to over 13v when driving and on solar in direct sun. Never on EHU though which tops out at 12.9v

I don't know about the T6, but for charging a 12V battery you really need over 14V. 13V is only for maintaining, trickle charging.
Can someone with a T6 confirm this?

It will go to about 14.3v whilst charging, and then drop to 13v (ish) once battery is fully charged and it reverts to float.

If you are not seeing above 13v when on EHU then the issue looks to be with the onboard charger. Solar overrides this as goes direct to battery hence you are seeing a charge from this even when on EHU.

When on EHU , your solar will also be charging hence figure will fluctuate depending on how much sun it is getting.

Check the battery voltage about 5 mins after a a long drive, if it’s not showing say 12.6v or above, then it’s likely the battery needs changing.

Our fridge keeps turning off! I've searched previous threads which recommend going into diagnostic menu and clearing errors but ours shows as no errors. So there's nothing to clear.

We're on leisure battery which states we have 80% left and 11.4v (don't know how we change voltage if that's an issue?).

Help - fridge is full of food and 3 more days camping to go!!!
Also: when I have full charge 12.7v
My fridge sometimes turned itself off.
Took to VWCV and they cleared the fridge code faults from ECU memory.
Fixed the turn off problem.

Same in my case too. Only happened 3 times over the past 18 months and was not related to a low battery power situation. I will ask the dealer to check this and clear fault codes as suggested when I take it in after the summer for the leaky 03S bellows.

By way of an update I reset the control panel (I had no faults) and it seems to have sorted itself out. I was getting between 13.2-14v when driving (haven’t checked EHU) and fridge has remained on with the batteries dropped to 12.3v. I suspect the batteries are on the way out but hopefully will get another year or so out of them.

Thanks all for advice and suggestions.
