Hello All
This is my first post but the site has been invaluable in the 18 Months of Cali ownership. I am currently going through the process of checking out the fridge controller and I am struggling to disconnect the electrical connections to enable the testing, it would appear that there is a clip that needs to be released on each of the three black blocks?

Thank you
Jerry

You don't happen to be able to take a picture from the left side (on this picture) of the connector?
Maybe looking with a mirror? Normally there will be a small lever or something to lift up so you can slide the connector out?

Don't know why or what you want to test. But some of the electrical clips in the black block (the one with three connectors) are nasty ones. Once clicked in, you can't get the wires out easily.
You need some special mini pin extractors to push them open.

I'll have a look in my digital attic to find a picture. Hold on.

Regards from Amsterdam,

Marc.

Look for something like this on E*bay or Ali*xpress.
Can't remember which one did the job. Just push and the connector will come loose.
Watch out not to get the loose cables in contact with the mass of the Cali, there's 12 volt on them.

Try RS Components in the U.K. or Conrad in Europe, both do a shedload of connectors and component.

Hi Triplebee,
Thanks for the advice, I was working to release from the right hand side but with a small screwdriver to apply pressure to the left hand side as you suggested and the connectors pulled out.
I can now proceed to check out the controller as the fridge is not firing up.
