Owned my 2020 Cali T6.1 since August 23. Air conditioner has worked perfectly until I collected after my passenger side door was replaced. My fault i misjudged!!!?*!
Very hot day in Sydney yesterday and the air conditioner pumping away, except the right front vent was pumping out very HOT air at a great rate of knots. ?????? is this even possible. All other vents including the rear were blowing cold air!!

Have no idea where to start with this.

Sounds like a hose has disconnected or come loose on the back. Be a garage job to get at all the gubbins.

1. Recalibrate the system if you have the Climatronic 3 zone system.

2. A temperature sensor may have failed. Read the diagnostic codes with an OBD reader, Carista or OBDeleven.

Thankyou WelshGas i will move forward with this……

thankyou WelshGas for following up.
I tried all the reset climatronic calibrations however I don‘t really understand the business of diagnosing using Calistra readings yet (am reading up about all that slowly) - so I have booked it in for the dealership to check out what’s goin on. That is happening on July 5th. Will post the outcome after they do a diagnosis.

In the meantime we have had a major cold wet snap in weather for the last few weeks so it is not nearly so uncomfortable as it was in the hot weather. Even with the air vent completely closed the drivers door side of the dash gets hot — with the vent open the driver positively expires

I did have this phenomenon twice or three times in almost six years, did not know about the recalibration thing @WelshGas mentioned. Thanks anyway. But what solved it in our case was to select the lowest temp possible on the climatronic, waited till cool air came out end then selected the 20 degree C again. Did do the trick.

Interesting I’ll have a go at that………..

Well, well, well !!
To my astonishment that has worked. I’m astounded and eternally grateful.
Thankyou Multi1100 and WelshGas both for your kindness and help.
