Hi, we have a 2011. Had a weird issue yesterday where when opening one side mechanism seemed to stop and the other carried on opening causing the roof to be opened on an angle, trying to open and close ended up getting it fully open (strangely pressing close and it fully opened).

It closed fine, but then last night there was lots of rain and we have a wet patch at the top above the drivers door, top of front pillar. I now see there is a bit of play when you press where the roof should seal when closed (front right corner). I’m wondering if the stress of the lobsided opening has bent the roof shell out of shape a bit.

Does anyone know of a good garage who knows about these roofs who would help diagnose some issues and hopefully try and make some repairs, rather than just try and sell me a whole new roof (really yhoping this isn’t needed )

Thanks

It would be worth checking the roof pump oil level as the first step, search in the forum for the details.

These guys will be able to fix it:

I just read a really long thread about replacing the rams/pumps and it’s well beyond by technical ability or time to go to those lengths, good on them though for tackling it themselves, hoping my issue isn’t as bad as that!
