Hi
Does anyone know how to retrieve the sparker from the gas hob? Ours fell through the hole when we were cleaning the hob!!
Thanks
John

Hi WelshGas

Fom what I can feel/see the bottom of the hob seems to be sealed and I cant get at it

Thanks
You could try removing the gas burner assembly. That might give you access to reposition the igniter.
Remove pan holder.
Undo the 2 screws on top. Use correct tool ? Allen key and remove.
NB haven't done this myself.

Hi WelshGas
That didn’t work because the unit is sealed under the rings when you remove them. We were able to get at the underside of the hob through a small gap in the press where the gas shut off valves are. And using bow kebab skewer we eventually managed to push the sparker up through the hole. So we are back in business
Thanks again for your help
John

Do i see two burner sizes? Or is it just an optical illusion... I know someone on this forum that would be very interested in that, something to do with burning beans

Two different size burners

Seriously..., the Grand California has two different size burners. That is truly 'grand'. Some of the California owners would very much like to have that.
Not to mention a bathroom, shower, loo, large fixed bed, standing headroom, loads of storage, ... etc
