Whats the best price you have paid for a refill? I payed £24.99 today
Not sure if that's good or bad

I'm not sure about refills Kev but there is a fella up near me in Walsall that is selling 2 bottles filled with gas on ebay for £60 A proper bargain!

I bought my bottle off him for £35 filled - He told me that he bought a big job lot of bottles and was selling them off cheap until they were all gone

That is cheap the place I bought my refill wanted £75 for a full bottle no exchange
I had a couple in the garage before I bought the cali The last one seemed to last ages
I now have 2 full ones should last me this year and next

Thinking forward - The guy at Walsall is great but he will not post its collection only. I guess if anyone wanted some they could buy them on ebay and I could collect them and then bring them to one of the meets if that would help anyone?

thanks for that m4rky ....it's going to cost me about £60 in fuel to collect them ,but they are a good price ... .
I'll have to see if i twist the arm of my local gas dealer ..unless i find someone that has one they want to sell on the june meet ...

They also sell canisters at £30, but only in conjunction with a refill (i.e. net £49.99 for a full canister):

You'll need a discount card which costs £5 a year, but there are generally lots of other goodies to buy at Go anyway

Going price in general seems to be £20 per refill. Rip off local place to me is £36!

Go outdoors have 907 bottles for £30 and refills for £19.99 but this is members price which i think costs £5 a year to join

They were £25 a couple of months ago but now seem to have gone up to £30. The postage costs have also increased but I think it is still a pretty good price.

If like us you have Go Outdoors & Towsure in close proximity this could work out ok.

Towsure Empty 907 £10.00

Go Outdoors 907 refill £19.99

A total of £29.99 for a full cylinder.

If you wanted to be really cheeky Go Outdoors have a Price Match which is match & beat by 10% so that would make the empty £9.00 plus the refill £19.99 = £28.99 and you can do it all under one roof :barmy

Anyone going to Hollands Wood you have Go Outdoors in Millbrook Southampton and Towsure in Northam Southampton.

i popped down the local council refuse tip and asked the guy if he had any 907 bottles and hay prestoe in among the calor was a full bottle without a cap,but no worries and so while i was there i got a large patio gas bottle with the gauge on it and that was full as well ...dropped a fiver on the floor and went home with my winnings ....

You lucky :censor my refuse centre or the rubbish police as they are known don't accept them
So I had to scrounge one of the father in law. I do now have a full spare but they seem to last ages

afew of the guys are good blokes and got him looking out for anymore and he'll put them to one side for me .....i did buy one for £40 delivered full...but if i get others i'll keep hold of them for other members......

That is quite a good price as the average for a full new 907 bottle is around £50-60 in the UK ( unless you buy a dodgy one off Ebay )

If anyone is near Plymouth, we have a place here that does genuine sealed 907 bottles for just £36 (bottle inc refill )
