I recently popped the roof up to clear out leaves after staying at campsite. I saw a piece of blue hose about 15mm in length laying gap between the strut and the canvas material. I also noted that on the hinge pins of some the struts there is a white hose type spacer.
I’m not sure whether this blue hose had any specific purpose, or just an off cut that found it’s way into the roof area.
Has anybody had anything similar or can suggest a reason for it being there? Photos attached for info

Its purpose is to stop rattles / crashing from the rear scissor mechanism. Fits over the pivot pin to stop the mechanism clashing together when the roof is closed.

There are some white hoses on the actual pivot pins, but this blue one was just laying free in the gully

If the transparant /white ones are in place the blue one is a lost soul from the factory imo. never seen a blue pice of tube like that on a Cali
Probaly from drainingtubes somewhere else on the Cali , not from the roof.
